As I am not ordinarily a fan of westerns, I was surprised to derive that I really enjoyed this film. It was an sharp and intelligent movie, and, unlike others in this genre, it is an bright and well plan out film.

The film tells the sage of a Missouri farmer who, towards the ruin of the Civil War, finds his home overrun by renegade union soldiers who situation fire to his homestead, raze his wife and son, and leave him for boring. After burying his family, he joins a group of confederate guerillas who have suffered similar tragedies. Ultimately, the war ends and their leader brings them in for surrender, except for Josey Wales, who watches their surrender from afar. Suitable thing he did not join them, as their surrender turns into an execution by the very same men who had pillaged his home and killed his family.

Wales escapes only to be relentlessly hunted down by the very men who had wronged him, as well as by bounty hunters who want that five thousand dollar reward offered for his catch. Wales rides on to run them, and along his travels acquires a motley entourage whom he befriends and who attend him. What happens on his hurry is classic Eastwood.

Clint Eastwood plays his role as a stoic man of few words, while Chief Dan George is an absolute delight as section of Wales’ entourage. The rest of the cast is uniformly valid. Of course, Sandra Locke, as Eastwood’s accurate life main squeeze at the time, got star billing, even though her role was one of the smaller ones and her performance the least impressive of the supporting cast.

This remains one of the more spicy films in this genre. It also made Hollywood sit up and choose serious peep of Eastwood as a major force in the film industry.

Josey Wales is another of Clint’s Eastwood’s bigger than life Western characters that you won’t soon forget.Josey though, is not like the others that preceeded him. It becomes apparent throughout this film, that this tough loner, on the hurry from murderers, has a heart the size of Texas.(And of course in this one we DO know his name!) .

Eastwood also does an artful job of directing this anecdote, that has everthing from action to romance, and even a itsy-bitsy comedy.

The raze of the civil war is nearing. The northern soldiers though, won’t let up. The “Red Legs” as some of these well-known war criminals are called are peaceful pillaging,and plundering the homesteads in the territory and…killing the families.Wales is a victim of these brutal attacks, his house burned to the ground and his wife and son viciously attacked and murdered. He joins up with a group of others who are out to avenge their families and they become a renowned group. When they are offered a deal at the raze of the war, they all turn themselves in..all but one…Josey Wales!

Ride with Josey(everyone else does) across the attractive western vistas, as he takes on the “Red Legs” that are after him, saves a family from “Commancheros”, makes friends with the Indians, and wears his heart on his sleeve as along the design he seems to attract a group of outcasts, including a dog, that he honest can’t leave tedious.

Clint surrounds himself with the most honorable cast, including Sondra Locke, Bill McKinney, John Vernon and Chief Dan George who provides many of the lighter moments in this action packed western.

If you are already a fan of this film made in 1976 and wondering about the quality of the transfer, you will be thrilled by the device it looks and sounds. The narrate in widescreen is ravishing. All scenes including the darker and nighttime are tantalizing and positive. Colors are vibrant. The soundtrack remastered in 5.1 Dolby Digital is also extraordinary. From the pounding hooves of the racing horses, to the rain, to the music and the dialouge,you won’t miss a thing.It’s a dual-layer format, but I did not witness any of those slight pauses that casues sometimes.”Extras” are in the plan of production notes only. There are some keen facts on how Eastwood came to read the book and beget the film.

What?! You haven’t seen this yet??? It’s a must for any Eastwood or Western fan! Go for it. “Now, Spit!”..Chief Dan George……Like..Laurie

I can’t give this collection less than five stars despite the mostly imperfect Season 5 included in the series. Steele, I would rather have Season 5 than not. I’m objective thankful I will have the entire series on DVD as of August 15, 2006 and can finally retire my deteriorating video tapes forever. My celebrated episodes are in the previous seasons, but I savor them all, especially “Steele at Your Service” and “Beg, Borrow, or Steele.” Impartial try to forget about Jack appearing in Season 5 and appreciate these final seasons of RS on DVD.

The debonair ex-con-man and strait-laced detective return in the last two seasons of “Remington Steele,” where Steele and Laura solve novel mysteries — and divulge veteran ones. While the final season is broken-down compared to the previous ones, the last two seasons are mild quite scrumptious and funny.

As the season opens, Laura Holt (Stephanie Zimbalist) returns to England, trying to support Steele (Pierce Brosnan) from running afoul of Scotland yard. He’s masquerades as an assassin while looking for clues to his past — and a cancel happens. But even help in America, their problems don’t pause — and some of them are very laughable.

Among other things, the agency investigate a wrestler, missing experimental pigs, faux obituaries, a body that fell onto a airline luggage carousel, a self-improvement spa where “accidents” withhold happening, tell-tale butlers, missing caviar, and deal with an inept would-be detective whose latest draw gets a man killed. Steele and Laura are even declared boring — and Mildred (Doris Roberts) is the prime suspect in their “assassinate.”

And on the personal front, Laura finds a doctored photo of her in a porno, Steele apparently gambles away the agency, and Mildred becomes a radio star. But the fourth season takes a harmful turn when Steele finds that he’ll be deported unless he gets a green card — and it seems that Laura is the only one available…

The fifth season was done for contractual reasons, and the stars didn’t want to do it, since it led to them losing out on roles they wanted. So, they only did a trio of movies, which rather expeditiously wrap up the threads of the series — mainly Steele’s past, Steele and Laura’s relationship. It’s very light on detective work, but it does give us a genuine finale.

It seems that their faux honeymoon will be as detached as their job. Snide insurance agent Norman Keyes (James Tolkan) is hounding Steele, and an Immigration officer is trying to woo Laura — and rep Steele out of the recount. And then their “marriage” is set to the test when a DIFFERENT woman claims to be Steele’s wife. And in the two-hour finale, the duo spy the truth about Steele’s inheritance and past… and finally deal with their tempestuous half-relationship.

The fifth half-season is a half-hearted, rushed finale to the series, but it does manage to wrap things up in a scheme that viewers will bask in — especially the final scenes. But the season preceding it is quite solid, with its mixture of romantic comedy, action and mystery.

Okay, few of these mysteries actually resemble anything in staunch life — although the pirated music one is shapely tantalizing, as is the one where Laura moonlights as a stewardess. But the mysteries are all tightly-written and knowing, and even the fifth season’s more drawn-out episodes are unruffled fairly enthralling.

The writers had perfected the mix of comedy and mystery, and weren’t unnerved to be bizarre (gunsel Santas? ) . Not to mention that solid, moderately witty dialogue. (”If I were a man would you examine it if I told you I was going to enter the Boston Marathon? ” “I would demand why anyone would want to urge 26 miles without being chased!”) .

Laura and Steele finally deal with their tangled, complex relationship, after a stint at a “relationship issues” seminar that explodes in their faces. But fortunately the details of Steele’s past seems to assist. And secretary Mildred gets to be a bit more independent, dealing with a zigzag televangelist and working as a hard-love radio commentator.

“Remington Steele” ended on a middling trace, but the fourth and fifth seasons are “steele” absorbing viewing. Definitely worth seeing.

These movies were made in the slack 50’s, early 60’s….so there is NO EXCUSE for issuing them in this format. They were shot in 2.35:1 ratio….so almost HALF THE Represent IS MISSING!!!

This is the second time Columbia Tristar has deeply disappointed me on films I wanted in DVD. The first was their butchering of “Where Angels Go Difficulty Follows” and “The Distress With Angels”.

Alas, they will remain missing from my film library until they are released in their superior ratio!!

GIDGET was shot and released in CinemaScope, and yet the DVD is an unwatchable panned and scanned copy, which crops out 50% of the frame. Unacceptable, especially since TCM airs the widescreen version on cable! The film is ruined; don’t bother.

The sequels were not Scope; they do not suffer as grand.

Avoid and boycott this DVD until they go benefit and do it honest.

I first saw this movie/documentary about “THE FIREMAN” Jim Dunn at a Drive-in Movie in the early 80’s. This movie follows this Legendary Slither Racer around the country during 1970 when he domenated the Funnycar class with his innovative rear engine divulge drive 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. This type of setup was several decades ahead of it’s time and now the main cease of all Top Fuel Dragster’s today. This film also contains footage of then very young Mike Dunn stir racing his bicycle in parking lots and he even dropped a cute as he eliminated the competition. Mike Dunn drives a Top Fuel Dragster today and his dad Jim Dunn is unexcited an Owner/Crew Chief of a Top Fuel Funnycar Team. Jim Dunn is probably one of the most over looked Legends in Trudge Racing today. If you want a film that documents this Legendary Plod Racer in his hay day then you’ll want this movie.

Just like the previous person. I also saw this at a puny theatre in Illinois when impartial 5 or 6. I grew up at a local dragstrip (BYRON.) And witnessed “Snakes” and “Mongoose’s” cars.

He loved taking me and my brother to the races. My father and I tranquil back the races together. I savor it. My mother found this film on your space(AMAZON.co) and had to grasp it for me for Christmas. Was I surprised. I have watched it three times already. Awesome! I wish I was a minute older in those days. All I remember is the awesome paint jobs on cars like the Hawaiian and Showtime. Also the Army Tank Wheelstander. Here’s the titillating thing about Richard Linklater’s “A Scanner Darkly”: for a film about heavy drug spend space in the not too distant future, it’s probably one of the most unprejudiced and complex anti-drug stories ever told. I say this in spite of the fact that I found the specifics of the state incredibly difficult to capture. All I could comprehend were the general bits of information, most of which were gathered from trailers and commercials. Apparently, a fictional drug called Substance D rules the streets of Orange County, California. It’s a highly addictive, brain-frying narcotic that has a long list of negative side effects. It’s also an illegal substance, one that undercover cop Bob Arctor (Keanu Reeves) has gotten quite familiar with in his attempt to locate its main distributor. Upon infiltrating the home of a group of pill popping slackers, he starts using in order to blend in. Unfortunately, this drugged lifestyle eventually leaves him unable to distinguish reality from hallucinations.

Through the cinematic process of rotoscoping, Linklater has enabled the audience to feel the right same plan as Arctor does. Each frame of film was traced over and stylistically repainted, making the world the characters live in–as well as the characters themselves–look half like a cartoon and half like the physical realm. It was an absolutely unbelievable ogle, and I found that it gave the legend an added dimension by representing a kind of realistic unreality (if that makes any sense at all) . In that sense, it’s almost symbolic that the undercover cops wear sprint suits, which are high tech cloaks with anatomical images that continuously shift from one to the next (apparently, a single suit can project millions of appearances) . The position of the world these characters live in is ruled by uncertainty and deception. Arctor is ultimately tested, not only in terms of what he believes to be the truth, but in terms of his set of mind, as well.

I now understand why that rotoscoping process was dilapidated for an adaptation of a Philip K. Dick unusual. Only he could have written about the life-destroying effects of an addictive substance. Likewise, only this kind of film can do justice to the point he was trying to beget, namely that you can’t trust anyone, especially when you’re addicted to a worthy drug. Unfortunately, elaborating on that point would give too remarkable away; I will say that all in this movie isn’t exactly as it seems, and more than a couple of characters have hidden agendas. There are a number of truths hidden amongst the film’s eccentric style, and by the time you rep halfway through, you’re completely lost.

However, this is the kind of movie you don’t mind getting lost in, even if you have no opinion what’s going on. I have to admit that while I understood the underlying message of the memoir, I barely understood this film as a whole. Watching the sequences unfold and listening to the characters interact is almost as brain scrambling as the infamous Substance D is. This is especially suitable of the conversations between James Barris (Robert Downey, Jr.), Ernie Luckman (Woody Harrelson), and Charles Freck (Rory Cochrane), three of Arctor’s equally spaced out friends. Their esoteric banter flows seamlessly from topic to topic in an Altered Consciousness sort of design, filled with anti-establishment ramblings that almost arrive off as poetic. It even gets droll at times; during a road wander to San Diego, Barris claims he left the front door of their house unlocked and attached a sign for burglars to read (which, supposedly, was all share of an account for device to recount the intruder and solve the mystery unhurried the Substance D ring) .

There are some bewitching moments shared between Arctor and his girlfriend, Donna Hawthorne (Winona Ryder) . Their relationship revolves around their mutual abuse of Substance D, which doesn’t exactly enhance their moments together so worthy as it leaves them in a perpetually dazed location of awareness. Their conversations are almost as esoteric as those of Barris, Luckman, and Freck, the only incompatibility being a diminutive degree of intimate, meaningful language. One also gets the sense that Arctor is trying to understand Donna as a person, specifically why she’s behaving in positive ways. He knows how devastating the effects of Substance D can be, and he fears that maybe she’s going too far with her usage. The two prove apt distress for one another, even when they collect themselves lost in a conversation about drooping, floating cats.

Despite the free flowing course the record takes, everything does approach together by the raze. “A Scanner Darkly” is one of those movies that can cleverly cloak late a hallucinogenic facade in order to teach a serious message. If you’re considering seeing this movie, you have to be willing to find jerked around somewhat, especially when it comes to your expectations for solid characterizations and straightforward storytelling. I assume I knew all along that I’d net this film confusing; the ads made it perfectly certain that this was a very unconventional project. But in the demolish, I didn’t really mind; the epic takes on the develop of a seriously warped puzzle, and I welcomed the opportunity to effect the pieces together and figure things out for myself.

In A Scanner Darkly, the featured ‘oddballs’ are druggies crooked on Substance D – a drug that is never really described, but apparently causes paranoia and hallucinations.

The key here is to sit down with a glass of wine, a enormous bowl of popcorn and decide succor for a character-driven epic. This isn’t a Rambo or Dirty Dozen memoir – it’s about how people portray to each other, in many subtle ways. It’s a survey of interactions.

I really like that this was done in a combination of true life acting and animation. It floors me that in unusual times anyone might peep down on this because it is a “cartoon”. Is a Renoir less satisfactory than an Ansel Adams because a Renoir was done by hand? Animation isn’t inherently kiddie. Hand drawn works can occupy quite broken-down topics. In this case it is *ideally* advantageous to the legend – because a main aspect of the myth is that the characters never quite know what is true and what is imagination. Are the bugs really there? Can he trust what he sees? All signs point to NO. The viewer is caught up in this same confused world. If this had been live action, then ‘odd things’ would have instantly stood out. But the point of a drug haze is that everything seems ‘unreal’ – and so unique things fit into that poke noteworthy more smoothly.

If you don’t know druggies, rest assured that characters like this are quite average – and this tale is in essence an autobiography of Philip K Dick’s life in the 70s. He lived in a house objective like this with his two brothers after his divorce. He lost his wife and two young girls. He was very paranoid that one of his house-mates was a narc, spying on their druggie activities. One of his friends did judge bugs were crawling on him. At the extinguish of the movie is Dick’s trusty ending to the memoir – a list of his friends who were damaged or slain by drugs. Included on this list are his ex-wife and himself.

So what you have in the movie are the druggies at turns being nice to each other, being very cruel to each other, mistrusting each other, and turning to each other for abet. One of the druggies – Bob – is actually a narc cop code-named Fred. He’s gone undercover to figure out who is supplying Substance D to the dwelling. Unfortunately, he’s gotten himself curved during his undercover work. Even worse, fragment of what Substance D does is to slay your brain – so he’s developed in essence split personalities. The Bob-Druggie share forgets most of the time he IS a narc. The narc half of him, when he’s in the police dwelling, knows he’s spying on this group of druggies but forgets that he is one of them. So when the narc is told to specifically peer on “Bob”, he literally doesn’t realize that this is him.

Here’s where the movie – trying to stuff a dense book into under 2 hours – has some problems. If you haven’t read the book, it’s not obvious at all that Narc-Fred forgets who he is when he goes undercover as Bob. It’s a vast twist in the book, but in the movie it seems distinct to the watcher that it’s the same person, and it’s not made obvious in the myth that he’s forgetting his “other half”.

Other than that, the epic is really fine straightforward, plot-wise. The druggies are paranoid about the world around them and crawl on with their lives. The cops are trying to figure out who the supplier is, so they bug the house and try to catch that information. Like most Dick stories, there’s a twist, although to be unprejudiced I concept it would be a considerable larger twist. Also, like most Dick stories, there’s tiny female presence and the ending is only slightly hopeful. These aren’t happy-go-lucky romances that he writes – they are shadowy warnings about where society is heading when it marginalizes those who don’t fit in perfectly.

If you’re confused about the movie, I definitely recommend reading the recent. That might be easier to bewitch and give you more insight into the characters. Then go attend and stare the movie again – taking it dumb. Pay attention to the nuances of what they say, and how the characters narrate. Behold how they feel society is treating them – and then select a survey what society actually does with these people. Maybe they aren’t quite so paranoid after all – maybe there is some resaon for how they feel.

I never grow tired of watching BEFORE THE RAIN. It is, first, a stunningly splendid fraction of cinematography. The camera pans natural vistas, churches, London streets, and the faces of the interlocking characters with sensitivity, wisdom, and adore. The three parts of the film mesh with perfect paradox, underscoring the recurring theme that time is not a circle. We watch the young, the feeble, the archaic, the strong, the living, and the monotonous all intermingling with an incoherent rap song which blasts from speakers the world over. The pacing is ideal; the location is ingenious; the message is eternal. BEFORE THE RAIN should be reissued on videocassette and offered on DVD. It moves me as powerful as any film I’ve ever seen. Even American high-school students are captivated by it, and that in itself in a minute miracle!

Dark, dramatic, mysterious, enchanting laments in musical build that perfectly fit with the film of the same name. The music is at once captivating, animated, alluring, and even perilous. It intoxicates and transports you to the dwelling and time of the music. Indeed, it is an experience to listen to it. This is the heed of a immense soundtrack, I believe. One which can be taken outside the context of the film for which it was made and played again and again, detached evoking the images of the film (or evoking other, perhaps more remarkable feelings) .

I loved this film (also highly recommend it), but the soundtrack is glowing and stands alone as a musical achievement.

It seems like a ‘new, improved’ edition of “Gone With the Wind” has appeared every couple of years, offering the ‘ultimate’ in describe and sound reproduction, and extras. It can become expensive keeping up, and frustrating (noteworthy like buying a classic Disney DVD, when you know a more complete “Special Edition” will soon render your “First Time on Video” copy used), but the unusual GWTW Four-Disc Collector’s Edition most assuredly deserves a location in your collection.

First off, the narrate and sound quality is incredible. Warner’s Ultra-Resolution process, which ‘locks’ the three Technicolor strips into loyal alignment, provides a clarity and ‘crispness’ to the images that even the 1939 unusual print couldn’t accomplish. You’ll honestly own your TV is picking up HD, whether you’re HD-ready, or not! This carries over to the Dolby Digital-remastered sound, as well. All of the tell-tale stammer and scratchiness of the opening credit title music, peaceful discernable in the last upgrade, is gone, replaced by a richness of tone that will give your home theater a fine workout. The biggest selling point of this edition is, of course, the two discs of additional features offered, and these are, in general, pleasurable. Beginning with the friendly “Making of a Account” (narrated by Christopher Plummer), Disc Three offers exciting overviews about the film, the improbable restoration, footage from the 1939 Premiere (and the bittersweet 1961 Civil War Centennial reunion of Selznick, Leigh, and de Havilland), glimpses of Gable and Leigh with dubbed voices for the foreign-language versions, the international Prologue (tacked on to justify the Civil War to foreign audiences), and a 1940 MGM documentary on the “Faded South” (directed by Fred Zinneman) memorable today for it’s simplistic notion of the time, and stereotypical portrayal of blacks.

Disc Four is a mixed bag; the long-awaited reminiscences of Olivia de Havilland are more chatty than informative (with the 90-year-old actress more alive to in discussing her wardrobe than on-set tension…although a prank she pulled on Gable is funny), and the Clark Gable Profile is superficial (A&E’s biography of ‘The King’ is far top-notch) . Things improve, however, with the insightful, sympathetic TCM biography of Vivien Leigh (hosted by Jessica Lange), and a Astonishing fragment devoted to brief bios of many of the GWTW supporting cast, narrated, again, by Christopher Plummer (although I wish the filmmakers would have included bios for Ward Bond, Victor Jory, Fred Crane, and George ‘Superman’ Reeves) .

All in all, the GWTW Four-Disc Collector’s Edition isn’t perfect, but offers so worthy terrific material that it is CERTAINLY the one to gain!

I dilapidated to consider that this Hollywood classic was for everyone. However, after reading nearly 300 reviews of the film, I consider that isn’t honest anymore. This movie is NOT for you IF 1) you judge a movie must be as historically correct as a history book, 2) you consider a 1939 movie should assume the values of the 21st century, 3) your attention span is so short that you must only watch movies from 90-120 minutes in length, 4) you can only rep politically good films, particularly in terms of racial issues, 5) you are so Tiresome as to deem widescreen movies were made before the 1950s (although to be handsome, Selznik originally intended to utilize a special widescreen process for the so-called “burning of Atlanta” sequence but gave up on the expensive concept), 6) you can only fetch computerized special effects as they appear in recent films, or 7) your thought of broad acting is to be found in slasher or teen films being made these days.

GWTW is NOT a documentary on the Civil War period. It is NOT a history of slavery in America. It is NOT a memoir of perfect people behaving perfectly at all times.

It IS an adaptation of a unusual written by a Southern woman who, as a child, sat and listened to the stories the primitive Confederate veterans told about the archaic days before, during, and after THE war. It IS a fancy legend, probably about the novelist’s grandmother, which reflects the attitudes left over from that long-ago time.

To criticize this film for so many unrelated issues is funny. It stands on its merits as a masterful film that tells of bittersweet cherish and lost fantasy. That it succeeds so well is a tribute to the actors and filmmakers of over sixty years ago.

This is the collection that every “Homicide: Life on the Street” fan has been waiting for – and got – aid in 2006. For some reason it is being rereleased and repackaged. It includes all 122 episodes of the seven seasons of the unique series, the Law and Order cross-over episodes, plus the movie “Another Homicide” that aired in February 2000 and was the last we fans ever got to eye of our beloved series.

For those of you who are unusual, “Homicide” was an unusual crime drama that aired on NBC between January 1993 and May 1999. It was based on David Simon’s book, “Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets”, which was based upon Simon’s experiences in 1988 when he spent a year as a civilian assistant to the Baltimore Police Homicide Unit so that he could document what life was like in a immense city homicide squad. His extensive notes, interviews, and observations were eventually published as the book.

Much of the cases chronicled in the first two seasons of the display are adapted from right events in the book. The first two seasons focus on rookie Tim Bayliss’s first case – the destroy of 11 year-old Adina Watson whose execute is never solved and haunts him for the duration of the series. The recent cast was truly lustrous, but to rep a third burly season the show’s producers had to delete ragged actor Jon Polito (Crosetti) from the cast and blooming up the cast by adding Isabella Hoffman as shift supervisor Megan Russert.

There was an entire episode, perhaps the best of the series, dedicated to detective Crosetti’s suicide at the beginning of season three. Crosetti left no brand, and apparently had no enormous looming problems in his life. He fair chose to hold himself with alcohol, tranquilizers, and antidepressants and then throw himself into the Chesapeake rather than return to his job after his vacation, in spite of his deeply held religious beliefs that would beget you contemplate this is a choice he would never have made. This is one thing you’ll search for on Homicide time and time again – the writers are not paralyzed to leave the tough questions unanswered…forever.

Season four is also immense, although two more current castmembers go – Beau Felton and Stan Bolander. The two additions to the cast include Mike Kellerman, whose boyish, fun-loving exterior hides a cagey and complex detective with a penchant for self destruction. He is transferred from arson to homicide as a result of the wait on he renders on closing the case of an arson-related homicide when a dull body is found in a burned warehouse. Also, J. H. Brodie, a news cameraman who is fired because he gives a tape showing the attacker of an elderly woman to the police rather than to the position for which he works, is also added to the cast. He is apparently meant to be an analog of David Simon. The only dilemma is, Simon took huge inconvenience to sustain himself out of the narrative while Brodie is constantly included in the site, making him a somewhat awkward although likeable addition.

By season five, the “NYPD-Blueing” of Homicide is becoming a bit more pronounced. Never having stellar ratings, the series was forced by the network to explain less detective work and gritty realism and more of the personal lives of the cast members. Peaceful, the episodes are advantageous. In this season, Michelle Forbes, the modern M.E. with a “Queen of the Dumb” vibe, speeds into town and becomes keen with Mike Kellerman. Frank Pembleton is shown recovering from the stroke he had at the waste of season four and struggling to return to bulky duty. Elijah Wood stars as a the heinous sociopath son of a Baltimore reflect who believes he can bag away with anything, including plotting the slay of his maintain think mother. Finally, there is the apparent suicide of a long-since departed detective that turns out to be a destroy.

Season six is where things initiate to go downhill in the exhibit. At the conclusion of season five it was certain that detectives would rotate between departments. This was worn as a vehicle to introduce three largely dead and even unlikeable castmembers – Det. Ballard who actually comes from a Seattle homicide unit, Det. Paul Falsone and Det. Stu Gharty. Falsone always came across as a sneak and Stu Gharty had already been shown up as a coward in an episode from a previous season. Melissa Leo’s character, Kay Howard, is now completely evicted from the series. Aloof, there are some engaging developments. In “Subway” Pembleton gets an opportunity to squawk with the slow for a change rather than for them. Bayliss, at the ripe ragged age of 37, decides to peep other facets of his sexuality, powerful to the surprise of Pembleton. Kellerman’s execution/shooting of arch-criminal Luther Mahoney in the previous season leads to all out war between the police and Mahoney’s family that ends up in a shootout in the squad room and also with Bayliss taking a bullet for Pembleton. Both Pembleton and Kellerman resign from the force.

Season seven is largely forgettable. Bayliss has converted to Buddhism following his brush with death and becomes “The Zen Detective”. Giardello’s son joins the cast as liason between Baltimore PD and the FBI, although the two sight more like brothers than father and son – the age separation is unprejudiced not there, and neither is any semblance of a believable family connection. Michael Michele joins the cast as ex beauty queen/detective Rene Sheppard and does as grand a job of helping this present jump the shark as Ted McGinley could have ever hoped to do.

The main episodes from season seven worth watching include those that wrap up Mike Kellerman’s memoir after his exile at the raze of season six – the two parter “Kellerman P.I”. There are also the episodes that further Tim Bayliss’ character development where he is forced to shoot the killer of a Buddhist monk in self defense – “Zen and the Art of Destroy”. The other storyline worth watching involve episodes on the Internet killer, who is released on a technicality but vows to Bayliss that he will demolish again. These two storylines – the Internet killer being freed and Tim discovering that he can waste if he has to – collide in the agreeable series finale “Forgive Us Our Trespasses”.

The movie aired about nine months after the series finale and has Giardello running for mayor. He is shot by a man whose son is addicted to drugs who does not like Giardello’s stand on drugs as more of a treatment spot than a crime plight. The entire cast from the series – and I mean everybody – shows up in this film. Besides helping solve the case, Pembleton gets to hear one more confession – that of Bayliss admitting to the shooting of the Internet killer and demanding that Pembleton “bring him in”. This is a crime that Bayliss’ heart can salvage past but his head cannot. As a final revelation, we look that the dreary have ready access to coffee, but not expresso.

This is, without doubt, the best ever cop point to bar none. Better even than the Wire, estimable though that is. The character development throughout the series is unbelievable, the dialogue is vivid and witty, and the station lines weave wonderfully gradual the relationships which are in fact the main point of the prove. In the best possible design it is in fact a cop soap!

This was a slay of time for me. Very few facts about the staunch Robin Hood. Too great repeated material. I felt the sales material was misleading. I am not gay that I purchased it other than to check it out.

This documentary reviews the record of Robin Hood. In it, there is debate on if Robin Hood was dependable, who he might have been, and where he actually might have lived. Did he live in Nottinghamshire, where Robin is comingly attached? Or did he live in Barnsdale located in Yorkshire? If you know very diminutive about Robin Hood, then this is a tall documentary, and you might not know as grand as you assume…
